Renewable energy technologies provide a set of solutions that allows us (the human beings) to reduce our carbon footprint thus reducing the amount of green house gases (GHG), such as carbon dioxide, that each of us generate in our modern daily lives.
Living Systems simply believes that there is no reason for humankind to foul our own nest, aka Mother Earth and Father Sky, and renewable energy technologies are solutions that allow us to reduce our impact on the ecology we live in.
There are several types of renewable energy technologies that are in use and being researched throughout the world, some are utility scale, others are smaller scale such as residential. The technologies in use today include solar heat, solar hot water, photo voltaic (solar energy or power), wind generators, geothermal, tidal, and many more.
Living Systems is focussed on bringing appropriate renewable energy solutions to you, your home, and/or your small business. The technologies we use in our designs (equipment that is manufactured in the USA, when possible) include solar power, wind-powered generators, and solar heated water. The reason we are focussed on these technologies is for the area we live in, central Texas, these are the technologies that fit into our ecology and climate and provide the most bang for the buck while significantly reducing our carbon footprints.
